The GREATEST OF ALL TIME (G.O.A.T.) Festival: A Celebration of the Arts, was a new arts and crafts festival at the Kingsport Farmers Market in 2023.
Local community organizations came together to sponsor this festival with the hopes of supporting the artists who are participating and spreading creativity and inspiration within our community.

Thank you for your support of Public Art. From the Sculpture Walk to the Carousel, the Office of Cultural Arts – guided by the BMA-appointed Public Art Committee and members of Engage Kingsport – seeks to enrich the lives of citizens and visitors through vibrant art experiences.
2023 will certainly be the G.O.A.T.! The G.O.A.T. Festival will be presented by Engage Kingsport in collaboration with the Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts, Create Appalachia, Inventor Center, and the Kingsport Art Guild and held April 21-23 at the Kingsport Farmers Market, featuring some of the greatest of all time makers, crafters, and artists with fun family workshops for all.

The Kingsport Goat Herd
A herd of uniquely painted goats “frolicked” across the Model City, providing residents and visitors a unique display of colorful, public art.
The Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts sent out a request for sponsors for a special public art display of 10 painted, fiberglass goats. These goats were unveiled at the Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T.) Festival: A Celebration of the Arts.
Eleven goats were sponsored for $1,500 a piece and were cloaked in creativity, directed by the sponsor and executed by a local artist. After their premiere at the festival, the goats were deployed throughout the community to provide entertainment and inspiration.
